Laser cutting machine
Laser generation: In a laser cutting machine, the laser excites the particles in the working substance from a low energy level to a high energy level through an excitation source (such as electrical energy, light energy, etc.), forming a particle number inversion distribution, thereby generating stimulated radiation and outputting a laser beam with high energy density.
Material melting and vaporization: A high-power-density laser beam scans the surface of the material, heating it to several thousand to tens of thousands of degrees Celsius in an extremely short period of time, causing the material to melt or vaporize rapidly.
Slag removal and cutting forming: Meanwhile, high-pressure gas is ejected through a nozzle coaxial with the beam, blowing away the molten or vaporized material from the cut seam. As the laser cutting head and the material move relatively, a continuous cut is formed, achieving the cutting of the material.
